And on the subject of the dreaded Wal-Mart:
 
A friend just complained to me that he had paid $76 for 100 - 20mg
prednisone at the local Wal-Mart Pharmacy.
 
I sense that this is outrageous, and I called the pharmacy for him.
What I got was a cheeky pharmacist that was resolute that the
$76 was completely correct.  I told him I would not recommend  this
pharmacy in the future and he snapped back, "That's fine.."
 
I've never, ever had a pharmacist talk to me in this flip manner.
 
Pharmacies are closed here now, so in the AM I'll call around and
see what the prevailing price is to verify this charge is off-base.
