The year after my dad passed away, I attended the local Catholic 6:30 am
Mass to remember him at the rather large and very old church a few blocks
where I was living - a small Italian/American 'town' / suburb of Syracuse.
There were 10 people including myself in attendance. Communion and all, we
were out of there in 20 minutes. At the time that quick finish reinforced
my attitude about 'church', both big and small. Years I was still in the
'desert'.

When I stand before God at the end of my life I would hope that I have not a
single bit of talent left and could say, "I used everything You gave me."
