The episode that contrasts the care of pregnant unmarried girls by the
Anglicans and the Roman Catholics is both sly and informative.

Season 1, episode 2 IIRC.

I am remembering that there was a Roman Catholic order in Canada that
practiced midwifery, and they were forced to change by the Church. The
Bishop claimed it violated their vow of chastity !!!
