[Magdalen] a little thanksgiving

I am so grateful today.... I'm mired in probating my mom's will (no simple 
thing in TX it turns out, and especially fluky here in my county - same as 
Houston) and just got the good news that I'll have my first hearing, at 
which point I'll be a few signatures and a mailing away from being named 
executor, on June 28. My lawyer (a necessary partner in this endeavor) 
warned me that the hearing date could be in August (which would have 
possibly killed the purchase offer on my mom's condo, begun before her 
death).  Sigh. Thank you God.
