Parish St. Paul's Episcopal Church—LaPorte, Indiana
Position 3/4-time Priest-In-Charge
Description St. Paul’s Episcopal Church is a small, traditional, Anglo-Catholic parish with a heart for our community. We are seeking a 3/4-time priest-in-charge who will help us continue to discern and grow into the calling for which our worship commissions us. If that sounds like you, if you are a compassionate pastor who appreciates the ways in which ancient liturgy equips us for rather than shielding us from the challenges of our world, if you enjoy good company of all ages, if the love of God shines through in your prayer and preaching, please consider whether St. Paul’s might be the place for you. La Porte offers the coziness of a small town with connectedness to the big city. We are happy to call La Porte our hometown, and we are eager to help you make it yours. We therefore invite you to read the following pages in a spirit of prayerful discernment. Those interested in applying should send a CV and OTM Portfolio to Missioner Terri Bays [email].

Parish St David
Position Interim Rector
Description Having just celebrated our 50th anniversary this engaged, spirit-filled congregation is looking towards the future. We seek a full-time Interim Rector to help lead us in worship and study, take part in administration, events, pastoral care, and help us discern where God is leading us as we seek our next rector. With an ASA of 135 and a retired priest associate and deacon, and located an hour outside of both New York and Philadelphia, this suburban congregation seeks to serve Christ and his people. Our building is constantly in use, both by congregational and community groups — we host three other congregations, exercise classes, our own book studies and programs and 12-step groups. As we seek new ways to serve and grow, the ideal candidate should help us in this exploration. St David's is a meeting point where disciples from many backgrounds and perspectives joyfully share in Christ’s love. Send cover letter and resume to Senior Warden, Deanna Emerson at

Parish Calumet Episcopal Ministry Partnership
Position 2 Full-time Priests-In-Charge
Description If you are yearning for something completely different, the Calumet Episcopal Ministry Partnership (CEMP) may be what you're looking for! We are “one church in six locations” in Northwest Indiana that each retain their individual liturgical and social character while joined in community. Specifically, we are
  • St.Augustine's, Gary
  • St Barnabas in the Dunes, Gary
  • St Christopher's, Crown Point
  • St Paul's, Munster
  • St Stephen's, Hobart
  • St Timothy's, Griffith.
Our ministry settings are urban, suburban, and small-town, and our worship styles run the gamut! Our six faith communities not only share clergy but also collaborate on formation, pastoral care, and outreach. We particularly enjoy shared social activities! Each of our parishes has a rich history and identity, and we appreciate and celebrate this. We are seeking two (2) full-time priests-in-charge to coordinate and collaborate with other part-time and supply clergy in an ongoing process of discovery and re-invention.

The parishes of CEMP are all located in Lake County, Indiana, which is situated along the south shore of Lake Michigan. “The Region” (as it is known by locals) is a mere 30-50 miles from downtown Chicago and is known for tree-lined bedroom communities as well as light and heavy industry. It’s also known for environmental beauty seldom seen so close to industrial development, including Indiana Dunes National Park, one of our nation’s newest national parks. Residents benefit from easy access to all Chicago has to offer for recreation, entertainment, and shopping, yet the overall cost-of-living is fully 10% lower than the US average. Because transportation options abound, many people choose to live in NW Indiana and work in the city. The close-knit communities of Lake County support a widespread parks system, historic attractions, vibrant local events, art galleries, farmers’ markets, and museums that add to the cultural diversity of the region.
