CLARIFICATION The Rev. Clay Morris, liturgical officer for the Episcopal Church, says he was misquoted in Wednesday's article on the lack of Spanish in convention worship. "We have never attempted to create liturgical materials side-by-side in English and in Spanish," he said. "We have never been asked to do that. It's my intention to find some way to have a meeting [with non-Anglo Episcopalians] that will ask two questions: What languages do we need to be working with and what do we need to do to meet people's needs?" |
