A note from Anglicans Online As you well know, Anglicans Online has, each day, converted the Episcopal Life PDF files into HTML files so that people can read the Convention Daily on the web. We did this same thing for Lambeth 1998. Other major church events such as Canada's General Synod handled their own internet distribution perfectly well, and we did not feel that we had to get involved. We dearly hope that we never have to do this again, both because it is a lot of work for us, and because we want the communications establishment of our church to understand the importance of doing this right. God willing, at the next big event we can all just look at professionally-produced web news. But thank you for reading our publication. Brian Reid, Cynthia McFarland, and Simon Sarmiento |
This web page is a converted copy of information from the ECUSA
General Convention Daily, produced by the staff of Episcopal Life for
people at General Convention 2000. If you have any issue with its content, please refer to the
original. Many times we later find better-quality photographs than those from the Convention Daily, and we replace the original photographs
with them if we believe that they are equivalent for the purposes of the story. |
