Scotland

THE SCOTTISH EPISCOPAL CHURCH is the Anglican Church in Scotland. It was disestablished in 1689 and during the eighteenth century its members were subject to severe Penal Statutes. Today it has seven dioceses and about 44,000 members. Parishes are listed alphabetically by location, under their diocese.

The Scottish Episcopal Church is a member of the World Council of Churches, Action by Churches Together in Scotland, Churches Together in Britain and Ireland, and the Conference of European Churches.
